  • Worked with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) to build a client server application to replace a spreadsheet process tracking $2 billion of child payments.  This allowed the client to import 50 data streams from three systems, allowing the update of this data and manual entry and reporting.  The project was a high visibility, and of the highest priority to ODJFS.
  • Gathered requirements with the client through JAD sessions utilizing process flows and use cases.
  • Directed technical meetings with ODJFS MIS department, and while working within their complex infrastructure, wrote technical requirements document

  • Worked with Ohio Department of Education to develop a system to aid in meeting mandate by Bush Administration to track school performance.
  •  The Statewide Student Identifier System receives student information from every district in the state, identifies that student, and assigns a unique ID to track that student’s performance separate from his or her personal information.
